New Course for Managers Who Want Tools and Methods That Work In
The New World
Today’s world poses many challenges to leaders and their people.
The technological developments of the last two decades has changed most things, and today, things are advancing faster than ever. The widespread availability of 5G brings both possibilities and speeds that we had never imagined. However, we must consider the effects of this on our society. To remain at the forefront - or at least keep up, we must adapt, and use tools and methods that work in practice.
My leadership course will teach you about all of this, equipping you with the tools and strategies to lead in an ever-changing world.
What actually happened? How did we get here, and what does it mean for you, the company, the department, and the people you lead?
It may be summed up in three key words:
Digitization;
Digitization is the process of converting analog data, information and processes into digital form. It involves the use of digital technologies, such as computers, the internet, software and electronic devices, to create, store, process, share and manage information.
Through digitization, physical objects, documents, media and services are converted into digital formats. This makes it possible to handle and manipulate data more efficiently, quickly and accurately. Digitization has had a major impact on society and business in various ways, and it is only the beginning.
Digitization is not only about this conversion but about exploiting the opportunities and advantages that digital technology brings, for example data analysis, AI, machine learning and other advanced technology rapidly changing our company structures and societies.
5G;
Fifth generation mobile network, the latest standard for wireless communication technology.
It provides the following improvements to previous networks;
-Higher speed, up to 100 times the previous generation 4G.
-Reduced delay (latency) of less than 10 milliseconds, which enables several new applications in itself, e.g., autonomous vehicles, advanced healthcare and telemedicine, enabling remote surgery, patient monitoring, and medical consultations in real time.
Not to forget industrial Automation and Manufacturing: 5G supports advanced industrial automation, robotics, and remote monitoring, facilitating the growth of smart factories and Industry 4.0.
Better reliability opens up new areas of use where errors are not acceptable, e.g. emergency networks etc. enabling new applications, all of which results in new forms of society and everyday life, mentions smart cities, telemedicine, self-driving cars, AR, IoT in agriculture and so on.
Globalization;
Refers to the economic, social, cultural and political processes that lead to increased integration and interaction between countries, people, organizations, companies and governments worldwide.
Globalization has profound effects on various aspects of human life, including economics, politics, culture, and the environment.
What do you do in this reality? How do you lead and navigate now? What about the systems running more and more of the business you lead? Are you in control as a leader?
It is important to note that globalization is a complex and multifaceted phenomenon with both positive and negative aspects. It has led to increased opportunities for collaboration,
cultural exchange, and economic growth, but it has also presented challenges related to inequality, loss of cultural identity, and environmental sustainability.
Old models no longer work, and all this has happened almost "overnight" for most.
As a leader you are impacted by this on a every day basis.
